Pride is a Very Expensive Attitude

You can see through it but you cannot go through. It has black cold metal bars piled narrower than your torso. It confines you to very limited space. In its shadow spells a big PRIDE.

Pride sometimes hinders us from taking an opportunity. Someone will always be there to present us with an opportunity but because we thought we already know what they are about to present us, we do not commit to listening to the opportunity.

We can see it clearly behind those bars but we can’t precisely explain how it works or what is it for. That is the pride talking. Just because we had an idea of what is about to present to us doesn't mean we know it all. The reason pride is expensive is because we might have missed a detail of the opportunity that might prosper us.
